The What's New From Weber booklet seems to have an early version of what is now the the Jumbo Joe on the front

"The Weber Outrider barbecue. Equally at home in the backyard or away with the four wheel drive."

Love it.

Congrats on the score, @toebone! Any chance of getting that catalog scanned so we can all peruse it?

Well played toebone! Great looking kettle and a nice backstory. Those handles are very cool (don't know much about them). Nice work also to the member that passed on the tip.

The What's New From Weber booklet seems to have an early version of what is now the the Jumbo Joe on the front and the ears of corn look like they've been 'photoshopped' in?

I noticed that too... looks like they are hovering over the meat. Did Weber have a hover option back then...?  ;D
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Yes definitely mate, my buddy and fellow WKC member Bj Bear is going to take it to his work and use their high resolution scanner.
Will post pictures once we have them.

Thank you bro, I'm not to sure as yet as it's about 42c here this weekend, roughly 108f so there is a total fire ban meaning no bbqing.
But I'm thinking maybe making a dedicated pizza Weber.
But next weekend will be getting a good run

Thanks all it's certainly one of my nicer ones I have now.
And yeah kettlebb that's the joy of living in Australia, I wouldn't say it's always that hot but we will get temps of 100-115f at times throughout summer.

Man that's beautiful!
Really cool to have a brownie with the one touch and the centered-lid thermometer, I honestly didn't even know a kettle like this existed!?
Really cool! Congratulations

Saw this in the flesh yesterday, lightest brown I can remember seeing, still not a fan of this colour, but this is a very tidy looking kettle.

Interestingly, the thermometer has a shorter stem than toebone's Sage Performer
