One last comment, and it's cool if you don't agree.... If we want to carry on the Weber tradition and appeal to the younger generation, we aren't going to do it by substituting "crutch tips" for original looking leg tips lol. No offense to people who like geriatric looking grills.

I put a pvc pipe cap on mine when I still had a plain kettle. I just have a performer now. what I found to be a P.I.T.A. was that whenever I picked up the end to roll the kettle the 3rd leg would fall off so I used self drilling sheet metal screws to attach the legs.
