My first ever restore. Did this one to get some practice in advance of working on my "pat pending" birth year red head. Definitely learned some things... especially related to use of a Dremmel tool. That tool can be a good friend if you use it right.

Need lower parts for 69-70 22" pat pending - legs, wheels and triangle.

Awesome restore! Can you share how you stored the handle? It looks amazing.

Sure. I took it off, "sanded" it down with a dremmel brush tool, stained it, and urethaned it... that's it.

I had a lot of success with that dremmel on many fronts. I think that tool is a restorer's best friend.
