Back in Aug of 2014, I saw an ad for an avocado grill on a Sunday afternoon that was about 60 miles from me, issue was I had plans to visit my mom on that day, fortunately, my Mom lives 120 miles from me in that same direction.
My wife thought I was crazy to pick it up, turns out it was a Lime and not an Avocado.
At my mom's that day I took some pictures of it, you might recognize this picture from the past
After posting my findings here a crazy guy from Canada told me he would double my money for the grill, at the time I didn't have anything of a collection. So I took it and never looked back.
This was the first of many meetings between Mike and I
http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/meetups-events/the-great-north-american-meetup-(via-ontario-and-michigan)/Over the years, I have sold many grills and never regretted it, this one however I felt got away. While I felt that way I did gain something more valuable and that is a good friendship with
@MrHoss. As I said he has made many trips to the US over the years and we have had many good times being the conduit for shipping to Canada.
Mike always promised that the grill would be willed back to me upon his expiration from this earth, I was in no rush for it. Well, we got to talking a few weeks back and for various reasons Mike wanted to get this back to me. Yesterday was the event that made it happen, Special thanks to
@RottiGuy for helping get this across the border.
As a good steward of anything special Mike took great care of this jem.
Here are a few pics, this has to be one of the nicest lime's out there.
@harris92 has one in the same category.
