I may have found one or two more picts of this yellow SJ.    I need some help confirming.

Let me know what you think @Mr.CPHo & @harris92.

1972 1st edition, 1st printing of Barbecuing The Weber Covered Way.  Though to tell exact color due to the color tones, lighting  and age of the color pictures on the rear cover and inner pages

Rear Cover and pg 36

Blacks are appearing bluish from bright sun and reflection.  Yellow SJ plus bluish hue could make it look greenish, like in the pic.

That Smokey Joe is the sage colored one.  It person, its a greenish, avacado-mustard type of a color.

Are you thinking sage on the rear cover as well @Jeff ?  That looked more yellow to me than the playboy centerfold waterfall shot.

I am familiar with the newer sage color as well.  It does lighten up in the sun.

Jeff

Well at least with my eyes, and on my monitor, both of those pics clearly have heavy tones of green in it.  Its a much different color green than the Crate and Barrel grass green one you've pictured next to the turquoise one.  The yellow smokey color is pretty bright and distinct.

If you would see this sage colored one in good lighting and better quality photos, you'd see clearly what I mean.  Perhaps someone has saved some of those photos from that Ebay auction of not too long ago.  @harris92 ?
