Ah yes, the '62 Fleetwood... Since I was born in Feb of '63... I would consider this my Konception kettle!

Now that will surely start a new thread
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Anyone here willing to sell an oldskool weber to a member down under?

It's a tie between these two patent pendings... not sure which is older.. I'd put them both at 1969 or 1970.

Seeking either 56-58 anything or Westerner

Wow this is a great line up of killer kettles!
I feel like such a looser because the oldest kettle I have ever had ( or seen in The Netherlands ) is my '78 Weathered Warrior ;-)
I'm still proud of it !

You should have your head examined for feeling like a looser brother. You have a sweet cooker there. A lot of guys in the US would like to have that one. You should be proud of it and cook on it too.

Ok , I see the light.. yes your correct that I am one of the very few here in The Netherlands that has a weber that is SO old and yet SO Young compared to the '50-'60's grills that can be found in the states.
Let's call it "green with envy and deep seated jealousy" ;-)
Still have to say it... wow those are some great looking kettles !!

Ps: my house is up for sale and when it sells .. look out !  I'm packing my stuff and coming back home to the states to hunt kettles :-)

In the mid '90's my service manager at the Buick dealership I worked at in Michigan once told me :
I am so sick of snow and shoveling snow that I want to pack all my stuff in my car with a snow shovel on top of the roof of the car. Then I'm going to drive south and when I stop for gas and someone asks me what the hell is that thing on top of the roof.. then I know I have gone far enough south!
In other words.. some place nice and warm ;-)
