Great now you have added to  my "gotta have list' I didn't know they made 26" that early. Great find that's for sure.

Congrats, that Fleetwood is a beauty, as is the 18.

"I'm done, no need to look for any more grills."  I've told myself this one a number of times, then the next one pops up and I can't say no...

Great post Charlie. I'm looking forward to seeing your awesome cooks on that Fleetwood.

Travis, I gotta thank you personally, because as I waited for the Fleetwood to arrive, I scoured the WKC site for more pics of Fleetwoods; and the only ones that weren't Photo-Phucked were yours.

This size is perfectly adequate for majority of my cooks, and if I need more space for sides etc, I just double down with another 18".  Sometimes I'll pull out a SSP or 22" midget, but like I said, the 18" is perfect for just my wife and I.

I do a lot of cooks on our 18". If I'm just throwing on something quick for just my wife, daughter and I, the 18" gets used. It's a good size. If we have friends over or I'm smoking something I fire up the 22". Like you, I prefer the MBH's.

Congrats on the vintage 26r!

I'll pick this up next month when I go down to see Arcade Fire and Wolf Parade in concert.

Jealous. Very jealous.

Oh... and congrats on the 26 and 18...  ;D

Looks like you do very well at preserving the whitewall. Well done, Charlie. [emoji106]

I don't know if you have ever heard of evapo rust.  I tried it out on my old brownies steel wheels. Pretty good stuff just soak and rinse. I soaked them for days. Removes rust, leaves the paint behind, rinses with water and reusable. Works great on triangles too. Didn't hurt the rubber on the wheels either.

Thank you for that tip, @Kneab.  I will go back and try that.  This is my first time working on steel wheels and I'm being extra cautious around the rubber tread.
