I have recently acquired a blue Performer ( 2013 ) and also have green one 2nd gen (2007 ) .

I would like to keep one and blue one preferably. I can swap the bowl to 2nd gen as I like to look.

My question is - 2007 vent says made in USA but nothing on 2013 one. Where are these made ?

Some picture

Blue one ( ashpan is missing and also vents are stuck )

I've wondered that too. Normally designed and engineered means the blue collar man got screwed.
That's just my opinion. I dont know where they are made now...

Most kettles are still made in the USA. You can thank the FTC (and that "California resident") for the directive to make it impossible for an American Icon to make that claim though.  :'(

All because of a class action lawsuit that thousands of kettle heads happily pig-piled for something like a $6 check.

Heyjude

By my estimates at $6 a pop, someone owes me a lot of money!
