Does any one know when the last colored 18 inch kettles were offered  for sale in the states?

Per the 1982: Weber Grill History in the Age Guide, 18's were made in Red and Chocolate. The 22 had a turned edge twist ash pan. One Touch in 1983. Were there any color 18's with One Touch? 18 Performers?

One Touch Platinum 18" offered in few colors. Red, dark green, and not sure if blue.  I have seen OTS 18" in red, blue(??), dark green, and plum all with one touch system. Copper and blue offered in Sam adams logo kettles. There might be more colored logo 18" and other colors.

@TD - I have a 1989 L code red 18" and a 1998 EZ code green 18" so I can tell you the green 18" was produced until at least 1998.

@greenweb - One Touch Silver 18"s were produced in blue as I recently saw one listed on the Bay Area CL (Berkeley). It was snapped up rather quickly by some lucky person.

Just picked up an 18" Red O code 1992 OT plus. I'm not sure what the last year for the 18" (non mist) solid redhead was. Does anyone know?

My 1993 (P code) red 18 started life as a One-Touch .... converted to Gold.

Do not discount the black 18 OTs / OTGs ... They are rather striking, especially with the right handles.   8) 8)

MacEggs, is that the same size ash ring and can from a 22" kettle or is it 18" OTG specific?

@Smokin Performer , good question ....
Thank you to Scott Zee for answering ... I am always late to the party when answering most questions ...  ??? :-\ :-\

I converted this a number of years ago before the OTG parts were changed to its current design ...
I am glad I did, as I'm not too thrilled with current design of the ash bucket removal-and-return design ... JMO.

The black 18" OTG is a DT vent code (2003), so the ring and ash catcher are OEM.
