@addicted-to-smoke I wrote a message to Weber on Twitter so I will see how that goes. Not sure about the one touch hole and I agree. It's almost if the ash arm is supposed to be covering it up, maybe why it is preassembled in the box that way.  The leg sockets are a huge issue I think so I didn't get into too much detail with the rest of the bowl. I think the rest of the grill is black under the red so it might just be missed red and still protected by the black. The leg sockets you can tell is bare metal.

Those legs sockets will rust out in no time.  That's raw metal, metal rusts.  I am shocked at all the images coming through.  Very disappointing.  Mine is scheduled to show up tomorrow and it was too late for me to cancel my order.

Not really sure how Weber handles this one.  Do they all get sent back to China to be corrected?  Do they scrap the whole thing and spray over them in black and call it a loss?  These might actually end up being Limited Edition after all.

Wow, I am shocked at the stuff that I am seeing, this is turning into a PR nightmare for weber.  The whole "limited edition" thing is really stupid too.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Shit, I want those handles and don't even have one of these grills.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Looking forwards to pics of the unboxing, if warranted.  I will do the same on Friday. It sucks wondering what kind of quality you will get from Weber.  BTW, nice handles, @Craig

Those wooden handles do a lot for the taco, almost making it look vintage, even if not vintage Weber. Brian did a great job on them.
