Right there with you. Have 6 and need to offload a couple for some different color. Must admit. Hate the taco but the new red looks cool.

In case anyone is interested, there is a LE built and in front of the local ACE Hardware Store in Blackhawk, CA. Sorry but i fondled it Weinstien style because it was dangerously close to a 26-er that i was also fondling.  Seriously, though, i think someone dropped the dome or the bowl on the red LE because fit was EXTREMELY POOR and worthy of a discount to the discerning buyer.

Grate was not stainless but chrome plated...  What???

"Made in" is a legal definition of parts count percentage.

Some parts are U.S. sourced, some not, and the non-U.S. parts are not all Chinese in origin.

This kettle is one of them. And it's been that way for several years.

With Canadian steel formed in Illinois, would we simply say the thing is "Made In Canada?" Doesn't matter. At least we now know there will be at least one more of these available for folks that want one.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

For the price increase, it would be nice if they included their SS grate. But no 22.5" model sold in the U.S. comes with an SS grate.

All current-era 22.5 bowls bend easily compared to the old ones.

This thing is red and gorgeous, but no worse than any other model they sell in another color today.

You might say, "one of a kind," but hey, aren't they all? The Deluxe is advertised as including the GBS grate, plated steel ... just as with the Master-Touch or when sold separately.

How is that different than the rest?

I saw one in my local Lowe's this morning. I spent maybe 30 seconds looking at it since I was there to buy something else. It looked nice, but I wouldn't spend the money to buy one. I saw the Hope Diamond once, kinda the same thing. I can appreciate it, but that doesn't mean I'd want to own it.

Just got back from looking at one in my local Lowes, the display model had a 3" chunk of paint missing from the lid also.  :(
