What's the deal with those? Made by Weber or someone else is licensed to make them for Weber?  I think they are fugly.

Looking for: Red MBH 26"(The Aristocrat), Chestnut-coppertone (The Estate), Glen-blue (The Imperial), and The Plainsman.

They are made by Weber for Walmart. Presumably to reduce the size of the box (and cost?) while maintaining the cooking space (and margin?).
"Have you hugged your Weber today?"

After looking at one and operating the vent and looking at the absence of leg sockets, the one touch silver is way way way way way way worth the extra $30

@HoosierKettle No leg sockets???  How are the legs attached?
Wanted: Burgundy 18"

I'd rather see Weber stop making these and take the cost savings and make additional colors for the real kettles in the US.

There is no welding on these. The handles are bolted and when I took the lid off you can see the top of hex head bolts going from inside the kettle into the legs. I looked underneath and no sockets.

I would say they are probably still much better then other cheapo grills assuming they have the porcelain finish but definitely not worth considering over a ots.

Not sure on the porcelain. @swamprb would know. I think he has cut one up

Good for grilling only. Built for masses. We are not them. We need to put bigbird inside, do a low and slow cook, need to do indirect...etc. Not much room between 2 grates and the top of the lid.
