Ever since reading the threads by @varekai and @haeffb scoring their colored 26" flat tops, I have been on the lookout for one.  So for the last month I have been seeing this picture of a Copper Mist MBH on OfferUp.  The posting has been listed for over three months. The first time I saw it there was a different set of pictures, all poor quality.  Already having a MBH copper mist, I was really not interested.  About three weeks ago, the seller posted a new set of pictures, still poor quality but a little better. The first picture below was the cover photo.  Two nights ago, the photos were shuffled and a new cover photo was posted. Something looked different this time. My attention was drawn to the triangle. I started counting the bars of the triangle, one, two, thee, four.  What, Holy Crap that is a 26".  At this point my excitement was almost uncontrollable. I immediately emailed the seller and made him an offer. He responded within a minute. Today was the earliest the seller was available and I have now joined the ranks of owning a colored, flat top MBH 26". I still can't believe it was posted for three months without someone grabbing it.

Wow!  Amazing score!  I have a garage full of Kettles of various colors, ages and sizes but have yet to ever grab a 26'r.  Let alone a sweet colored flat top.  Color me Coppermist jealous.  Well done Sir!

Wow Jim! She looks to be in great condition! Looks to be a early 70's by the vent tabs, bar-b-que and plastic wheels. What a beautiful peel too! Congratulations brother!!

Dang that's a great score on a rare and pristine kettle.  To the trained eye, it's obvious from the first pic that it's a flat top 26r so you are very lucky to have grabbed it after all this time. Time to start checking offerup. ;)

Grate score!  Unbelievable condition for how old she is.

"used only 2 times"..... judging by the condition, they might not have been lying!

Congrats! Amazing score.  For a kettle of this caliber to be sitting idle for 3 months on ad is unbelievable.   Either, the Bay area members don't look at OfferUp or the Seller did everything wrong to get it sold.

All seller had to do was use CL with 3 words. Weber, Copper Mist/Brownie MBH, and 26".  And with reasonable price point, it should have been sold within few days if not on first few hrs I reckoned.
