Johnsonville Brats, Peppers & Onions 8/30

This pizza cook consisted of two plain, cheese pizzas and one with sausage, peppers and onions. Fennel seeds are at the top of my list of things to avoid, so no Italian sausage for this pizza. Instead, I used some Johnsonville Brats I had leftover from a previous cook. I removed the casing and browned the sausage in a CI skillet.
 
I made a single batch of the dough that I like and cut it into equal thirds. Then, I got all of the toppings chopped and ready to go. Once all of that was set, I built my fire the same way I always do. Same set-up, same everything...

Suasage, Peppers and Onion Pizza

Johnsonville Brats
Mini Sweet Peppers
Sweet Onion
Trader Joe’s “Tomato Basil Marinara”
Provolone Cheese
Fresh Mozzarella
Grated Mozzarella

Ready to go…



Done



Crispy



Time to cut!

What camera/lens are you using for those pics?

I use an old Nikon D40, with a basic AF lens. I only shoot in "Auto" mode because I don't know what I'm doing otherwise lol. I just take a bunch of pics and hope for the best.
