Crazy idea!! Pellet weber

So I saw someone mentioned trying to repurpose an older Genesis into a smoker of some sort.  Well then my wheels start turning.  Has anyone ever tried or done a pellet weber?  I am thinking using a pellet pro hopper mated to a older genesis?  Webger TRaber?
