Love the SS Performer/Genesis tool hooks attached that way also.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

This is AWESOME! I was looking at rehabbing a one touch platinum I got with a broken table and my first thought was wood would be much better. I also thought the same thing about getting rid of the leg supports! Awesome build! now how did you get that handle?

Beautiful!  But is the rack on the bottom upside down?  Shouldn't it bend upward to hold things in instead of downward?

It's a 3yr old thread. As for the rack, it doesn't really matter. It's what works best for you.

Maybe it is to discourage cluttering up the view of that beauty by preventing a bunch of crap from sitting underneath it.

Wow, just noticed this thread got brought back, thanks for the nice comments guys! The rack is in fact upside down. At the time I just liked it better that way. As for the handle, a buddy who dabbles in wood turning knocked that out for me and then I branded it using a letter kit and a blow torch. It was a fun project, hope to do another someday.
