That is looking great...I like the way it looks right now, but agree it would look sharp with a new paint job.  Only question I have is, if you did a new paint job on the bowl, wouldn't the high heat ruin it over time as it does on smaller kettles?

I'm going to try Rust Oleum BBQ Black (not in a spray can). I painted a smoker with it, and it lasted several years before needing repainted. I have a HVLP paint gun with a bigger nozzle tip that can spray it without thinning it down. Just painted Our big Company smoker with it...turned out great! BTW, the guy that welded my leg sockets built this smoker. Very talented fellow.

Awesome score @firedude5015!  While powder coat isn't cheap, it is a lot more durable than paint.  And certain ceramic powders would provide appropriate heat protection.  Regardless, however ya bring it back to life, it's better than where ya pulled it from.  Good luck and enjoy man!

Awesome grab!!!  Since color suggestions are being offered, here's a thought: paint it to look like a titty.

A pair would be awesome, but when they're that big, you can only play with 'em one at a time anyway (this is coming from a guy with big mitts).

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

The wheels that are on it are the correct ones (they are 8").  The reason it tilts forward is that the front leg is worn down from being dragged around, and is probably shorter that it started out.  That is an easy fix - just cut a new front leg.

As a quick fix, you could use a wine cork to level off. Either way that is a very cool find. I love  The flat black paint. THE RAT ROD RANCH!

Wine cork too small...the legs are bigger than normal kettle legs

Got to spray the paint on it today, found a rubber leg cap that protects the leg, and compensated for that slight lean.
I know these aren't the original wheels, but with some nylon spacers and cotter keys I made em work great. Brian is making some wooden inserts for the whitewalls...all that's left is to season the inside after the paint cures a few days and it's ready to cook.
I proudly introduce..."BIG POPPA"
