I don't see me selling this one because someone else likes it.
It went to a good home. He always commented on my collection, asked setup, technique and recipe questions. He mentioned several times that if I ever wanted to get rid of my Blue SS that he'd take it in a heart beat. So the last time he asked I figured what the hell, time to pay it forward. Now if he's cooked something the night before or over the weekend he can't wait to talk about it with me. He loves to send me pics of his cooks, but the pic he sent me this weekend was my favorite. It a picture of his old Char-Broil gasser on the curb with a FREE sign on it.
Part of this hobby for me is educating other on cooking over charcoal and getting them hooked on Webers. That guy's started to build a lifetime of memories with his family and friends. All it cost me was a grill.
My Red is a 99. Just need to swap out the last of the old hardware with stainless steel, get her Zavodized and she's ready to go. Hope to get to it this weekend. If so I'll get some pics up.
