I nominate @ramsfan to be on the Board of Directors at Weber

I thought it was Christmas and Santa's last name was Weber?
This is the original Weber kettle. The most powerful bbq grill in the world and can blow your taste-buds clean off! So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do you feel hungry? Well, do you punk?"

1)  1/2in sized EM type charcoal grate of quality steel
2)  Heavy gauge Stainless Steel cooking grates
3)  WOODEN HANDLES ONLY
4)  Return handle/vent orientation to pre-2015 design
5)  Expanded kettle colors world-wide.
6)  Upgrade enamel coating to early '70s level (both thickness & color richness)
7)  Improve bowl enamel resistance to crazing especially on Touch-n-Go Performers
8)  Ports for probes on ALL Weber products
9)  ATC designed, w/ correct size blower, for every WSM and major kettle sizes.
10) Provide a stable & reliable enamel patch material in ALL Weber colors for home use

First, let me say that Weber did a great job in 2015.  For the first time in forever I found myself standing at a Home Depot looking at the new features on the Performer and the MT and actually saying to myself, "I could be very happy cooking on new grills."

Having said that, I think Weber would be wise to offer the MT in several of the Euro colors-- it's pretty frustrating to see all of that awesome stuff in Canada and elsewhere, but all out of US reach.

I love my Weber grills the way they are but some nice colors would be nice. The black, Hunter Green, Copper, and the Crimson are boring. I would really like to have a bright Orange Kettle, the same color as Stok grills have. Also the charcoal grate should have smaller openings so when using Lump or used charcoal it don't fall through. I use 2 charcoal grates now to prevent that.

1) More colors (any color, doesn't have to be Euro options)
2) WSM in color (one other color in addition to black would be nice)
3) A few variety of wood handles (Ipe, cherry, teak, etc.)
4) Worldwide accessibility to all parts and accessories (getting their pizza lid could be as easy as ordering from their site)
5) Ala carte customization (black bowl, red lid, Ipe handles, and a warming rack)
6) A self leveling foot on the non wheeled leg (grilling area has a slight grade to it)
7) A beer holder (why not)

Like everyone else - More Colors
Go back to the old ash pan no one likes the new ones
Fix the the Handles
Would like to see matching smokey joes in the same colors they release each year.
Would love to see a mini rancher using a 26 like the one Stu did.

From a mostly functional standpoint, here is what I would suggest:

  • lid vent/therm positioning back, 2015 got that all wrong
  • back to twist off ash pan, it is better than the pinch
  • I would love to see a partnering with Tel-Tru for thermometers for grills and WSMs
  • taller legs on all free standing grills

Colors would obviously be awesome. That said, small gripes aside, it's a pretty good cooker as is.
