You have any tips for guys that may want to duplicate your work?  Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and you created some thing that I would love to
Imitate.

If anybody would like any info on doing something similar, ask away or PM me.  The only issue I had to be very careful with is the leg posts that are welded to the bottom of the kettle. Must minimize stressing those out while fitting the new steel legs and frame.. Weak welds on those.

I really like the side tables

Thanks!

Next to raising the height of the grill, the tables were next important to me. This grill will not be anywhere close to a place where I can set the trays(s) of meat,  condiments, etc.  So it had to have those side tables.  The weight of the new frame with the wheels provide enough stabilization so I can load those tables up pretty heavy if needed without it tipping over.

Did you weld this or assemble with bolts?

Did you weld this or assemble with bolts?

I took the lazy way out.  I welded everything.  I usually use a combination of welding and bolting so I can disassemble if needed.  Once I welded the, it makes it impossible to remove the kettle portion without having to cut the legs or cross frame.  Hope it lasts a long time.
