That's the best Australian I could come up with for the title.  :D

I marinated this in a little balsamic. I think it went just a little too long because the texture wasn't exactly to my liking, but it was still very good. I think I will stick with straight rubs on tri's from now on though. I used oak for smoke and pulled it at 135 reverse sear.

Check out all that gravy! :o

Plated! :)

Thanks for looking! :D

Hogsy, Golly, I tried your words at a local Outback Steak House; they didn't know what the hell I was talking about. ;D

Nice Tri-Tip Duke! Those are hard to come by up here in MN. Trader Joe's has them, and there's not many of those around here either.

I dunno, those commercials on tv are pretty convincing; when I walk into an Outback Steak House, I just walked into a steak house in Australia! Besides, they got all that great Australia memorabilia hanging on the wall; boomerangs, Joey crossing signs, Fosters neon signs, but no Paul Hogan or Men At Work posters...guess you're right, IMPERSONATORS! >:(

The other tip off was I wasn't offered any Vegemite to spread on my steak :o
