Thanks a bunch..very helpful
So looks like type 2 opd valve..
So if i understanding this correctly...get the acme nut for the regular conmection conversion.
Manchester tank with opd valve type 2...basically use it till dry bc need to purchase a new tank?
Thought i read someplace that some refill stations have adapters that refill quick commect tanks...?
Tanks must be re-certified if they are over 10 years old. If you have a old grill your tank probably needs to be replaced or certified.
Weber still sells a new regulator and hose for $97.20. I was able to get them down on the price to $58.32 Part number 62642.
Ace sells the new tanks with the Acme type 1 Valves for $55. Here is the link.

I was going to do all this till I got the ok on a new grill. My thought was to replace the old tank and regulator because who knows how much longer Weber will have the parts. That way your grill will keep working another 10 plus years!
