2015 Performer Premium review

Is it longer?  Is the support that connects it to the bowl in the center different?  I presume that is also longer.

I can confirm that the bale wire (for lack of a better word) is longer and bows out further - about four inches from the bowl rather than the old Performer's two.  The vertical metal strip that supports it is a completely different design, and the rollers are longer. 

I'll measure the span of bowl between the two holes in a bit - the old one is out in the garage, but the door is noisy and I don't want to wake up the small cranky fellow asleep in the bedroom next to it....

Also, the Mastertouch does not apparently have the same bale design - its lid is kept at the same angle as the older Performers.

First cook was a spatchcocked, dry brined Thanksgiving bird.  Cooked in 85 minutes! Turned out phenomenal. Also grill-roasted some sweet potatoes and tossed 'em with New Mexico red chile and my last Las Cruces pecans.
