I picked this up last week it also came with a 59 page recipe booklet that looks like it was attached to the kettle lid








And also came with this





I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

Yeah, I saw that too.....don't remember them being like that?

BOY, I'd love to get my hands on one of those charcoal chests.  Why didn't I buy one with my lawnmowing money back in the 80s?  How could I have been so foolish?

Even though it says 1980 on the last page of the catalog wasn't 1981 the first year that the WSM was released? Also all the kettles have timber handles more than likely twin rivets (except the 26er)
If it's a 1980 catalogue shouldn't all the handles be MBH ?

Was probably 1981 catalog. They probably got the copyright in late 1980. If you notice under 1980 it says  "CBG-81".
