I see a few post 2000 era kettles here. The more I look at these, it seems like a fitting way to put a  dying kettle to rest. Almost like a "Kettle Grave".

I have a cruddy donor 2001 OTS bowl that I MIGHT, MAYBE, PERHAPS. (Yes, Troy!) retire it and memorialize it as a planter. Maybe.....

Some are just too far gone. And how many have we missed going to the scrapper.

May not be able to cook on it, but maybe it could grow your herbs for cooking (or whatever) and you'd still be able to look at it.

I was actually thinking about a hydroponic herb garden. It'll fit right in with the rest of the kettles.

Even the ones waiting to become "planters".

"When I get some time Honey. In the meantime, how about I grill you up some nice chicken and asparagus on it."
