We need to get this Green C Code added to the gallery!

Jeff

Is this green a lot different that the current dark green?  Hogsy, you got any new green ones to put this grill next to?
Kettle collector AND cooker!

dazzo

To me it looks like the older green, which is actually different than the newer green, when I had a newer one to compare. Looks like a smoother finish though...

Dude, relax your chicken.

Craig

@dazzo  We need to add your MBH green to the gallery as well! A fine specimen!

I'll work on getting some nicer pictures.

Dude, relax your chicken.

I only use kettles with lid bales.

Hogsy

Great looking kettle Dazzo,
And I'll try and get some pics up this afternoon of the newer and greens together
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

Here's a C code 1981 22 next to a DA code 2001 18

And an N code 1991 SJ next to a DH code 2004 SJ

There is an obvious difference between the greens. With the earlier models (pre 2000) being much lighter. For the record I prefer the earlier green

Some might call the lighter "Forrest Green" & the darker "Hunter Green"

    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!

Thanks for sharing these Hogsy! Makes me want an older green even more!

Buckie, I agree on the Forrest Green/Hunter Green comparison.

dazzo

Green is good, but, I like the older green as well.

And I think the Captain would agree...

Dude, relax your chicken.
