Corn n Tater
« on: May 23, 2014, 12:50:08 PM »
Just picked up a damaged M code daisy wheel.  Really just needed the lid for a rehab of a freebie one touch gold I got a little while ago.  The legs are bent and the bowl has a dent where one of the leg mounts is located.  But the good news...under the lid was a roast holder and what appears to be an unused corn n tater ring!

What a nice surprise, those rings are hard to come by
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

Dude.

That is an epic score!  One of the rarer-- and more useful-- items Weber ever made.  They work like a charm, and also allow you to stack another 18" grate on top to add another layer to your cooking (HT to Duke for that tip).
One of the charcoal people.

Interesting to note that.  I see some sweet corn in my weekend plans.

The seller was also selling another Weber with a rotisserie stamped Weber but clearly of the EZ Que design.  Looked to be in great shape but I only cook with charcoal... http://boise.craigslist.org/for/4483761110.html

I thought the roast holder that also came with the grill was a generic brand but thanks to Marty's post on the Member's Sales page, it turns out I have a vintage RH-95 in addition to the corn n tater.  Sometimes it pays to ask for a pic from a blind CL ad as it was the emailed pic that showed the accessories. ;)
