Last year guys brought food to grill, they cooked some of their favorite snacks and appetizers.  You can cook something, you can just eat whatever you want to do.  There will be ton's of room to grill, I have plenty  :P   you can bring your own grill, do what you want.  I'll have brats and dogs to eat.  The rest is up to everyone else.  I'll also have some water and pop, you guys bring whatever else you might want to drink.....

Kirsty, brats are short for Bratwurst- a type of sausage originating from Germany. It's popular here in the states as an "upscale" hot dog. :) Sometimes they are made with beer and cheese mixed in. Yes, "pop" is what midwesterners call soda or soft drinks. And dog is short for hot dog...... I hope!

Brats on a grill...My wife always pronounces it wrong.

Bratwurst
Sausage
A bratwurst, also known as a brat in American English, is a sausage usually composed of veal, pork or beef. The name is derived from Old High German Brätwurst, from brät-, which is finely chopped meat and Wurst, or sausage.

So technically we are only a month and a half away from July 12th.
I've been to Brian's house before and he has an excellent back yard and deck with lots of room for people, AND grills.  I plan to bring some grills for sure.  Hopefully others will too.  I think this meetup could rival or beat last years Chicago meet with grill volume, people, and food.  Lets start planning and getting head counts!

Just wanted to give a little update.  I'm planning a few giveaways...I have some grills that just need to leave with someone.  They will not be garbage, there may be more than one give away....I'll know more in the next few weeks...We can do some kind of ticket thing, everyone who attends will be given a ticket and the prizes will be given away.  Please clear your calendars...I can't wait to see everyone who can make it....It can't be great without all you guys showing up.  See you there....

The happy cooker goes no where, that's mine.  What will be given away will be a weber.  Unless someone really wants my happy cooker.  It's got to be the best one out there!
