Hello - Might be a longshot, but I am looking for someone local in the Minneapolis, MN area that customizes Weber Kettle grills.

I have (1) performer and (1) traditional 22.5" kettle. Looking to explore what it would cost to have a new frame built that would replace the frame on the performer (keeping factory functionality) and also hold my stand alone 22.5" kettle.

I've considered going to a traditional welder but would prefer to find someone with past experience customizing Weber grills if possible.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

Thank you!
Scott

I bet @pbe gummi bear or @zavod44 or @Shoestringshop or @TexasOnion could give you some solid advice.
Looking forward to seeing how your project turns out.

The possibilities are endless! Have you considered looking into customizing a stainless food service island? There should be builders out there that can point you in the right direction.

Wife said "No more GRILLS in this house!" So I bought a 2nd house!

Lots of cool ideas if you google stainless kitchen tables/carts/islands.

Okay that's what I thought you meant. Not as old as I thought I guess.

Since you guys are talking about islands, my mother in law uses one of these in her kitchen. On blocks. :) And of course it would be just fine if left outside.

Good storage for stuff, but get the kind with flip sides so that you still have half the table when getting something from the inside.

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Thanks  @pbe gummi bear! Hadn't thought of a stainless food service island, great idea. It would also allow me to integrate into an outdoor kitchen door the road. Likely a year away from doing anything but it gives me a good place to start.
