Check out the picture of this average black kettle. Look at the triangle. Why does it look different from a traditional Weber triangle? Do they still make them like this? Was this a limited time production? Anyone know?

This is the original Weber kettle. The most powerful bbq grill in the world and can blow your taste-buds clean off! So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do you feel hungry? Well, do you punk?"

This is the single spoke triangle. Was used on the daisy wheel kettles in the late 80s through the late 90s then used on the One Touch Silvers 2000-2009.

Yeah, it was another lame attempt to save a few dollars, but didn't last.

They do make for great 50's style "triangle ash pan" supports...especially if the axle needs cut down to support skinnier wheels
Otherwise, regular frame is better...

that's funny, I picked one up today, a OTS for $10 at a yard sale and it had the same triangle. I thought it was broken, but besides being on upside down, it looked normal....I no like.

Do the money saving triangles include money saving wheels as well?
From a M code 18 (missing the lid)...
