Char Broil was in the kettle mocking business!? I thought they poo-poo'd George's kettle at the outset..
While definitely a copycat, there were some differences.
The vent holes were all smaller and the internal volume was larger so it did not breathe as well when going for hot/fast. Low/slow wasn't bad though...
At least 2" more clearance between the charcoal grate and the cooking grate.
I have never seen a Happy Cooker in person, but from pics that I see on this forum I think the Charbroil was a better kettle.
Still, I gladly traded it for a Weber!
