I picked up a kettle that has shakey leg syndrome, the legs in the sockets are loose enough for the kettle to wobble. Sockets are good, tried a different set of legs, still shakey. Ay remedies for this ailment...that doesn't involve a drill bit?

Tell me it is not one of the four? Not the MT?

Nope, it's one of the two I picked up earlier this evening. This one came from up near your work. The four you gave me are great.

Thanks, I feel better now.

The legs get wobbly because they are aluminum.  They get soft over time from the heat.  It's really nothing you're doing it's just way it is.  Same reason those old ash pans are so bent up.  They just get soft.  Either pinching then or flaring them out with a broom or whatever is the best option.  Put a little tension on the legs in the sockets....
