I am restoring an O code red kettle right now.  It has the single screw wood handles.  They were very weathered but the engraved parallel lines and Weber logo were still there.   I used an art brush and black paint to fill the engraved areas and sanded off the excess paint.  Some stain and new life to worn handles!   Just need some varnish to make it shine.  Don't toss those old handles!

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Good idea on using black paint to fill in the faded logo.

Looks good. What grade of sandpaper do you use? I have a bunch I need to restore.
