Mystery pieces on the leg

Picked up a B code had these on one of the legs. Anyone know what they are?

Those are to ground your kettle in case of lightning strikes.

In reality, those indicate it once had a sidekick table on it.  I believe the weber part number was 1800.  There was a portion that extended from the frame, that the little wood table sat on, down to the leg & I believe that bracket held that portion from the frame and attached it to the leg of the grill.

Yep! That's a bracket for a sidekick. My WW has one on its leg as well.
