Rat Rod kettle
« on: May 26, 2019, 08:27:38 AM »
I got this old rusted 1980 B kettle a few weeks ago and wanted to convert it into a flower pot. Decided on a different path.
Sealed the rust spots with high heat automotive clear paint. The table is made of an old weathered pallet. And I used some other parts such as wheels and frame pieces from Weber gassers I had in my shed. And the shelf is made of left over corrugated steel.
Wheels are painted.
Basically almost all recycled materials. Only the grates are new.

Sorry yes. Used my phone and posted in the wrong folder. Maybe the moderator can move it.

I like it. Red wheels, chains and corrugated shelf are all slick. Did you seal the pallet? I'd end up staining it first cook.
