Got a great deal on this NIB 26 from a guy who buys Amazon returns at auction.   The lid was scratched.  No biggie.  I registered it with Weber today and will have a new lid in a day or two.  What was troubling about this grill was the lid handle, which cannot be attached.  The studs of the handle cannot be held by the cheap hardware.   Disappointing.  I found at least three Amazon reviews with the same issue.  Anyway, Weber says they'll fix it.  If not, it's to the hardware store I'll go, which is probably the better option.

Congrats! Maybe it's a matter of the angle of the picture but is the bowl not out of level?

I just picked up a couple of real bolts from Home Depot.  Less than a  buck.

Interesting . I wonder if the 26" I just picked up offline a few weeks back can be registered . Iv never owned a grill new enough to even think about it .  Would I be able to register a grill that's previously owned ? Reason I ask is I am missing one of the wheel caps. Not
A huge deal but would like to have it .

ive registered used grills.  They won't do anything if it's used, though.

Grillparts.com has the hubcaps.

If its off level (weeblwampus) Weber might send a replacement bowl also, youll have to ask customer service about it. Otherwise cutting an inch or so off the top end of the front leg will get it very close.

The push nuts that hold the wheels on are 3/8 inch and you can get them from lowes, HD or Ace.
You can't always get what you want....but if you try sometimes you get what you need

Jon

These look like pushbutton legs, not friction. Maybe don't cut the top?

I disagree. I've registered a couple used grills. Bought an outrider at a flea market 2 years ago, was missing the vent covers and the lid bale. I called customer service to order the missing parts, they said it wasn't my fault they were missing. The gal registered it for me, even though I told her it was used, and shipped the parts to me under warranty.

Big shot out to @effinUker . I went ahead and called customer service and they asked about the missing handle and hubcap for my Weber 26 inch told him that I was not the original owner and they said they will send me the parts of in less than seven days! Thanks a lot friend
