My Father-in-law was a long time season ticket holder for the Raiders before the Oakland Coliseum was built.  The games were played at Laney College in Oakland. I have a stack of old Football cards from when I was a kid. Here is a quote from the back of my Ben Davidson card.  "Ben is a construction worker in the off-season".

The players had to have another job as they weren't paid much back in the early days of the NFL. The guys played for the love of the game, not the money.

In action at the Oakland Coliseum.

I still have some early 60's Raiders cards.

Drove through Billings in 1998. Felt like I went back in time. I liked it.

I refuse to follow the Raidiz to Vegas. Been with them since SB 2...the move to LA was bad enough. No mas man.
But they's still the Raidiz!!!  I'm having a difficult time with the possible move as well. Bit... They still the Raiders...

Glad you're getting that SSP.
Doesn't matter about the no gas assist.
I just picked up a couple of sleeves of Weber Lighter Cubes for $4. each at Home Depot yesterday, they work great with a chimney.

I picked up the SSP this morning. It's a little dirtier than I remember from yesterday. I noticed the thermometer was broken so the gal at the thrift store said $35.00. Missing the charcoal storage bin and tank. Not many scratches etc. so I think just a good cleaning in order. Thanks for all the encouragement and Raider love... 8)

I too have an EZ SSP as my daily driver.  That's a grate grill! Congratulations on finding it for such a fantastic price.

Congrats! a steal of a deal! Really surprised how clean the lid, wheel axial, ash ring position and pan/handle with no rust. Bottom frame looks good too.  You could almost do a quick clean up and use it right away.

@Darko  True enough. Maybe I'll calm down about it eventually, but right now I hate it.

@Raindog Congrats on getting a Raiders SSP!

@Mr.CPHo Well done!
