Finally sprung for roti

@HoosierKettle, totally do-able with just one set of forks... arrange them "butt to butt" and use onion halves in each cavity to stabilize and center the rod.  Don't forget to truss them well.

I generally always spin two at a time to maximize fuel usage; one gets eaten that night, the other becomes chicken salad, and both the carcasses become soup.

Everyone should have a roti.    Did you get it yet?  As for the counter weight- with a torquey motor and slow spinning speed...you probably don't need the balance factor. Weber probably realized this and deleted it or never came with one prior.  Mine comes with it and I use it for the hell of it.

I have the CB for the 26. I love it but it does have a counter weight, works great.  I've used the Weber rotisserie on the 22 many times without a counter weight, they work great also. 
I would certainly recommend CB though for either size kettle.  Fast shipping and flawless product.

Thanks fellas. It was a lot of fun. The hard part for me was trussing the bird. I had never done that.  A 7lb bird took right around 2 hours. It definitely turns out a juicy product.

I also noticed you don't have the keyhole washer on the notch closest to the handle,
it is a handy little washer to keep the roti shaft and whatever you are spinning from
walking out of the motor and not spin. I forgot it once and the shaft walked itself
outta motor in less than a minute so I spent the next hour or so checking the
damn thing., make sure it rests on the inside of the ring and you are golden.
