I am looking for a new cover for my SS Performer. The new Weber covers seem to be of a lesser quality now, thought id ask fellow members what they are using to cover there SS Performer's. Amazon has the original 8701W (36 x 31 x 51 inches)  for $57.50 shipping $9.99 total $67.49 ::) https://www.amazon.com/Weber-8701-Premium-Grill-Performer/dp/B00004RBE7/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

This is a similar topic I found last posting on Oct 2014 http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/performer-cover-won't-fit-ss/

Has any one found anything new since October 2014?

Thanks

The one on Amazon is terrible.  Lasts 1 year. I just ordered this one last night.

I am not sure about the quality yet, but others here have ordered it, which is how I found out about it.

I have the grillstuff.com cover and it is perfect, super heavy material and it fits great. I know there are some other members here with the same cover, and I am sure they will chime in with their opinions too.

@Foster Dahlet @WEBERNV

Yes I did find that same cover @ grillstuff.com after posting this.
Thank you for posting your recommendations. Will wait a bit to see if there are any others.

I would be surprised if you find a better cover than the grillstuff cover. It is top notch. Hands down the best SSP cover out there.

@Bob BQ, how long can I expect it to last?  My grill is always outdoors, North Georgia....so mild winters, extreme heat in the summer.  I ask, because I want to know if I should get a backup.  Finding covers for the SSP is getting increasingly difficult.

I can't say how long it will last, but mine has so far withstood both hot summer weather and freezing cold. No drying, cracking, ripping, stretching, shrinking, etc, so far. As @WEBERNV said, it is very heavy duty material.

@Kneab, check with @haeffb, who has a third party cover and the 2015 bale on his SSP.  I think it is the grillstuff cover, but I am not sure.

@kneab I dont have any first hand experience with the 2015 lid bale and this particular cover but I think another forum member has the new lid bale and reported that the cover fits with no issues. I can' t say enough good about this cover, I have had it through a whole Nevada summer and through this winter and it still lools as good as new.
