Performer Gen 1 Grill cover source??
« on: October 24, 2016, 04:29:05 PM »
Does anyone have a good source for the Gen 1 Performer with the gas assist (22" kettle)? Tried one from Yukon Glory, but it's too tight.  Any help appreciated!

You want an original Weber 8701 cover. They fit nicely without any bunching. Mine drapes exactly like this:

Just like a tailor made suit. :)

I can't find any for sale right now but they do pop up on eBay periodically for ~$60 shipped. Don't buy the aftermarket ones that misleadingly have a similar part# (8701W)

I just buy these from Home Depot. https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.heavy-duty-grill-cover.1000823025.html

They're built like a brick sh*thouse, and for 20 Canuck bucks, ya can not beat the price.

Just bought one from Grill Stuff as referenced in the second post, and it works great.  Thanks for the tips.
