Rib o later new old stock?

So I ordered a rib o lator from Amazon .. When
I opened the box I found that the end brackets
That hold the trays are nothing like pictured on the
Box or what I have seen on YouTube.
  Instead of a flat x shape they are made of solid
Tubular steel. They work the same but they are
Not what I expected.  So my question is:
 Is this a new model or did I buy a new old stock item?

New design!!

Here are the Mothership Kettle ROL's that BOB hacked together for me back in the day!



These were some I hacked up to fit the 18" WSM, Kettle 30 gallon drum and Smokey Joe before shorties were available.





I think I have at least 4 sets including one of the old original that kick ass on the 26'r.

FYI for centering and balancing- I ground the rods slightly round at the ring contacts and notched markers to align the cross bars for easy setup.
