Converted 18" to RV grill
« on: June 16, 2016, 05:29:13 AM »
So I had used a Weber Q 2200 attached to my RV bumper for awhile.. but I just missed the charcoal kettle when cooking at the camp. I decided it was time to mod a 18" to fit on a swing arm on the bumper of the RV. Ended up buying a bunch of metal and welding the arm. I decided to keep a leg-like structure for two reasons. First, keep the ash catch tray.. but second - you can pull off the grill from the swing arm and it becomes a ground grill similar to a Jumbo Joe. Anyway, thought you all might like to see the mod.

I like it. Toss up some cook shots when you get a chance.
