Does anyone own one?
I am considering the one with the table and am comparing it to a BGE
I own the 22" Kettle and mostly cook long and slow
The kettle uses too much charcoal and it is hard for me to maintain temps in the cold.
Does the Summit do better?
Any advice is appreciated

No personal experience, but yesterday's Washington Post had a solid review:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/food/is-webers-new-1500-charcoal-grill-worth-the-price/2016/05/24/9ce7cf1e-1946-11e6-924d-838753295f9a_story.html

And the Summit does have double walls, so I expect it'd be easier to maintain temps in the cold.

I don't think anyone has real experience with the summit in winter as it just came out. Imo the summit is a much more functional than a Kamado although it doesn't quite have the "bling" factor.

Considering the fact that the Summit came out in April, It's difficult to say how well it performs in the cold.
Now, having said that, I've been smoking & cooking with a kettle for years, winter summer spring & fall. Honestly, If you are worried about how much charcoal  you are using..... get a gasser.

Really, you have a roughly 200.00 dollar kettle and you're complaining about charcoal use, so you want to spend 1500 bucks to minimize that????
