I figured - Why not, latest addition 26er
« on: June 05, 2016, 05:55:21 PM »
Found this on CL, it was listed for $100.

Person who had it before me used it as a "smoker" prior to acquiring an 18 WSM

Apparently, he liked to bank coals a few blow outs on the porcelain but I got it for $80 so I think it was a steal.

I envision my slow and sear going in this with an elevated 18 grate to load up the food.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Not bad at all!

Well, you sure can smoke with a Weber...but I'd certainly call into question the methods he was using. I've used my OTG 22.5 for smoking, no issues.

good find! can't imagine replacing a 26' kettle with a 18'wsm though.
Looking for colored 18's and SJ's.
