22.5 lid bale on 18.5" kettle
« on: February 22, 2016, 06:28:21 PM »
I picked up a free 18.5" OTS a couple weeks ago. I have an extra 22.5" lid bale from a performer and was thinking about trying to put it on the 18.5. Has anyone ever tried this?

Does good ..actually works similar to the 2015 performer lid bale. Lid does wiggle a bit, but not bad.

How does it do in the wind?

Wind on the lid in the bale can knock over an empty or lightly loaded kettle. Ask me how I know. :(
