Congrats on your "brand new" smoker. That's the way to get into the WSM club
Once you get it greased up, just sit down some morning, start up a 10 hr load of coal, add some smoke wood, and start to learn the daisy-wheel setting(s) for your usual cook temps. My WSM can sit at 225-230 for hours (if I leave my hands off of it), you'll have fun learning your own personal smoker ... each one is the same and yet different. I love it. SJ
