At long last, I am now part of the roti club!
My Weber rotisserie ring came today!   Sadly I'm working nights all weekend and won't get a chance to use it.
I am curious about a couple things though:
1) Why have it slide into the kettle rather then make the bottom of the ring like that of the kettle lid?
2) I get what the notches out of the bottom are for, so it'll fit the performer but what are the little holes on the bottom for?  In case you want to screw it to the kettle bowl?

Over all I am pleased.  Had to give it a bit of a hug to make it more round though.  Like the corded motor...hate batteries.  Really like the thought of a stainless steel unit like the Cajun Bandit but exchange and shipping put it substantially higher then the weber from Amazon.

Can't wait to use it.  Hopefully the weather stays moderately nice for a while.
