Good point @Big Dawg  ...  I see this as an ideal charcoal chimney starter for massive coal lights, just leave the lid off and the bottom damper(s) wide open ;D                        SJ

I do like the big, flat pan.  It would be great for bacon & eggs. 

But since I've already got a 19½" cast iron skillet, I guess i'm set for when the next Hurricane Hugo sets its sights on Charlotte ! !

Besides, when I think Hibachi, I just can't get this image out of my mind:

Thanks for link to the video, Mike.  I would have thought that the coals stacked on top would catch more quickly than they say.  Guess that's due to reduced air flow.
