Login within thread

Do you ever find yourself not logged in and cruising the forums? After cruising for a bit you find something to reply to but in order to login you have to navigate to the top of the page to do so....only to lose the thread you were in. Am I doing something wrong?

I just stay logged in....why do you log out?

Different computers, log off my machine at the end of the work day, browse from my phone and the app might get closed
