Shrimp On A Gorgeous Spring Day
« on: May 02, 2015, 05:56:09 PM »
Damn it was beauty out today boys. Spent most of it doing yard work but spotted a deal on zipper back shrimp so late in the afternoon went out and got enough for me and the SWMBO. Marinated in some good Italian dressing for about 40 minutes then put on skewers:

Done:

My wife does not like to waiting to eat while I take pictures....she said it was okay if I share her displeasure:

She liked the shrimp.

"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

LOL!

Thanks for literally taking one for the team.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Shrimp look great, and I don't like having to wait to take the pictures either, and I'm the one who cooked... and took the pictures. Worth it though I think

Fantastic, Hoss!

It's funny … Just the other day my wife mentioned about cooking shrimp on the kettle.  Never tried it, but will soon. Thanks for the inspiration.  :D ;)
